Spalted Wisconsin Maple

This is the heaviest board in the collection — a full eight feet of spalted maple at a true two inches rough, with the bark line and natural edge left intact on both sides. Black zone lines run the length of the board and break into marbled clouds through the pale sapwood.

At two inches you have room to flatten, joint, and still finish out well over an inch and a half. Three of these came off the same maple in sequence, so two boards laid side by side will carry grain and spalt figure across the seam.
